Birthday Cake

It's been a while since I have posted anything here. Being a mommy of 2 keeps me very busy these days. This is a cake I did for my boss this week. It was a 4 layer chocolate cake with raspberry cream filling.

Erik's Birthday Cupcakes

I must say these Irish Dream cupcakes are really my one of my top favorites. Made with a Guinness beer cupcake, filled with a whiskey ganache and topped with a bailey's infused butter cream. I topped them with a decorative chocolate garnish, a gold studded whopper and chocolate sprinkles. This way you get extra treats before you even bite into the cupcake. They are great for any adult party and everyone who has ever tried them has never been disappointed. I am actually making them for a rehearsal dinner next month. The couple is getting married on St. Patrick's day. So, they thought these would be perfect to get everyone in the spirit. Happy Birthday to my wonderful husband. Now it's time to make him a cake for his actual Birthday. Stay Tuned.

Engagement Party

My Sister is Engaged!!

She decided that she wanted to do an engagement party and yours truly was in charge of the desserts. Her most favorite cupcakes of all are my Lemon Raspberry filled Cupcakes With Cream Cheese Frosting. Of course we could not just leave it at that. We added a special touch with the paisley wrappers and topped each little treat with an engagement ring and glitter.

Strawberry Bavarian Cream Puffs

I decided it was time to perfect my cream puffs. I know a lot of people use whipping cream, but to me it's too light. I wanted to add something special to it to make it a little more creamy. They came out so perfect. This is a must try!

The Irish Dream

I know I am a little late with posting my St. Patrcik's cupcake pics, but I made these last night for a party I was attending and let me just tell all of you. These are the cupcakes to take to a party. The Guiness Cupcake is so moist and the Chocolate Whiskey Ganache filling caught everyone's taste buds by surprise. Then topped off with a fluffy mound of Bailey's buttercream and garnished with a malt ball, Chocolate Sprinkles and a chocolate stick. All I can say is it does not need to be St. Patrick's Day to enjoy these party filled cupcakes. This one will be on my menu all year round!

St. Patricks Cookies

I am so excited that was able to do my first batch of sugar cookies tonight. Of course I have an event tomorrow that I am providing sweet treats for and I will be bringing these along with me. As we all know tomorrow is St. Patricks day so of course I needed to break out the clover cutter. I hope you enjoy!
